The school

Deltos Model School in Akoka, Lagos runs creche, nursery, primary and secondary education. It wanted its pupils to leave with more than basic computer skills: ready for a world being reshaped by AI and emerging technology.

The challenge

Most ICT teaching trails the technology by years. Pupils learn software the world has already moved past, while tools like AI change how work, research and creativity happen. The school needed a curriculum that closed that gap across every class, not a single elective.

What we did

  • Designed an original ICT curriculum for the entire school, structured by level so skills build from year to year
  • Built AI into the learning itself: pupils use current AI tools to research, create and solve problems, and learn how the technology works and where its limits are
  • Connected the classroom to the present-day world, so what pupils learn matches the technology they will meet in further study and work
  • Oriented the teachers delivering it on the curriculum and the AI tools

Results

  • One ICT curriculum running across the whole school, instead of disconnected lessons
